jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

yes are congruent sure

OpenStudy (allen27):

i need a sentence of how u got that

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

the first originale figure was rotated 180 degree about axe ox and 180 degrees about axe oy - i think but i m not secure

OpenStudy (allen27):

do u have an equation that would help solve it

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

no this i said it looking on the graph

OpenStudy (allen27):

oh

OpenStudy (allen27):

can u give me that anwser jhonyy

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

reflection not is right - yes ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

so i think first rotated 180 degrees counter clock ways and 180 degrees about axe oy @hoot_hoot your opinion about this please ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

@agent0smith please

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

the triangles are congruent because all the side lengths are same.the side lengths are same from the diagram because each side is occupying the same number of grids. the transformations involved would be : 1) horizontal translation using rule : (x, y) --> (x+4, y) 2) reflection about x axis using rule : (x, y) --> (x, -y)

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

Yana not triangles polygons

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

but ty

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

*Polygons. Mistake sorry.

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

np welcome
