HELP PLEASE!

OpenStudy (donnie1999):

OpenStudy (donnie1999):

here are the choices

OpenStudy (donnie1999):

OpenStudy (freckles):

you can solve the system or do a pick & check per choice

OpenStudy (freckles):

To do a pick & check what i mean by this is see for which of the choices given when you replace the x you get the same y for both equations

OpenStudy (donnie1999):

so can i plug in each choice as x and see if its true ?

OpenStudy (freckles):

let me know if you get stuck or if you want me to check an answer

OpenStudy (donnie1999):

I worked threw the problem and found out that -8/7 was the best choice i think?

OpenStudy (donnie1999):

I got y=-4/7 for both equations.

OpenStudy (freckles):

yep when x=-8/7 you get the same y for each equation

OpenStudy (freckles):

yep that y happens to be -4/7 :)

OpenStudy (freckles):

good job
