@kl0723
Verse 1: This section describes specific details relating to the song's main idea. Federalists wanted the Constitution Anti-federalists did not So we came up with a plot and we compromised a lot Til they both liked what they got Chorus: This section contains lines that repeat after each verse. Usually the chorus contains the song title and main idea. When the leader of the British sang something soft and soaked in pain We were the echo from the homeland far away We took what we liked, left the rest behind Became who we are through change and time Bridge: These lines are like a bridge linking two sections of the song. It shows a transition between moods or ideas. We found our way right time right place And we plead our case Verse 2: This section describes specific details relating to the song’s main idea, but is different from Verse 1. Anti-federalists wanted something more like a Monarchy But Federalists stuck to their ideas of Democracy We abandoned the Articles of Confederation to improve our nation And saw the Constitution through to its ratification Chorus: This section contains lines that repeat after each verse (same as first chorus). When the leader of the British sang something soft and soaked in pain We were the echo from the homeland far away We took what we liked, left the rest behind Became who we are through change and time Verse 3: This section describes specific details relating to the song’s main idea, but is different from Verse 1 or Verse 2. The government split into three branches Each learning their own new dances And started moving together in time Figuring out how to keep each other in line Chorus: This is the final repetition of the chorus. You may change a couple words or a whole line for dramatic effect. When the leader of the British sang something soft and soaked in pain We were the echo from the homeland far away The founding fathers set precedents for all the future presidents And we still don’t stray from them today Example Chorus: Classes and notes can sure be a chore, When I do my own work, I get to rule. My own written ideas are never a bore, Civics is by far the best subject in school.
ok
thats the song :)
it needed to be about ratifying the constitution, explaining checks and balances, and viewpoints of federalists and anti-federalists :)
well, seems like you've taken some time to put this together, and as far as writing goes it's pretty good but it would be awesome if you could find sense inside the rhythm if you're going to be singing this
no i wont be singing it and thank you!
it helps to read with a bit of rhythm
"The government split into three branches Each learning their own new dances" I like this part
thanks!
@kl0723
