OpenStudy (deathlynine):

Can someone check my answer? I will medal. Which inequality matches the graph?

OpenStudy (deathlynine):

OpenStudy (deathlynine):

A. −2x + 3y > 7 B. 2x − 3y < 7 C. −3x + 2y > 7 <--------- Thats my answer, is it correct? D. 3x − 2y < 7

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

it's not correct. If you were to think of -3x+2y = 7 and plug in x = 0, what is the value of y?

OpenStudy (deathlynine):

I just wanted to know if my answer was correct, but it seem I need more practice. Thanks.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

I suggest using geogebra or desmos to graph each equation (convert each inequality to an equation) to form the boundary line

OpenStudy (deathlynine):

alright, I'll do that than.
