When the coordinates (1, 1), (7, 3), (8, 0), and (2, -2) are joined, which shape is formed?

OpenStudy (usman1995):

take a graph paper and locate these points on it

OpenStudy (usman1995):

can you do that?

OpenStudy (allen27):

OpenStudy (allen27):

@Usman1995

OpenStudy (loser66):

yes

OpenStudy (allen27):

so what shape is it just to be sure

OpenStudy (loser66):

It looks like a rectangular, right? but you have to prove it (I am not sure whether your prof wants it or not)

OpenStudy (allen27):

im thinking its a parallelogram

OpenStudy (prathamesh_m):

Find the equations of its sides and then find the angle between them to check if its a rectangle.

OpenStudy (loser66):

Only one way to know is proving it.

OpenStudy (allen27):

whats the anwser

OpenStudy (usman1995):

it's a rectangle @allen27 , all the angles are right angles aren't they?

OpenStudy (allen27):

yes

OpenStudy (allen27):

thank you

OpenStudy (usman1995):
