The ideal length of a particular metal rod is 20.5 cm. The measured length may vary from the ideal length by at most 0.045 cm. What is the range of acceptable lengths for the rod? A. 20.455 is less than or equal to x which is less than or equal to 20.545 B. 20.455 is greater than or equal to x which is less than or equal to 20.545 C. x is less than or equal to 20.455 or x is greater than or equal to 20.545 D. 20.455 is greater than or equal to x which is greater than or equal to 20.545

u get it?
Another way of writing this is that the rod length can equal 20.5cm +/- 0.045cm. So, take 20.5 and add 0.045cm and subtract 0.045cm. That will give you your "bounds" on the rod length.
20.455 <= x <= 20.545 Sorry, got interrupted.
A is the right choice.
thank you so much @luffingsails
