Atsie (atsie):

I thought I'd attempt something a bit different. Please please tell me your thoughts! ^o^

Atsie (atsie):

WAYS TO EVADE Right between the cheekbones you can be drowned out by musical melodies. Top by the crown of the head you can be sealed away most definitely. Each side of the nose you can be seen no more by clasped eyelids. At above the chin your foolishness can be laughed at by hurting ribs. Fingerly gentle but firm your touch can be brushed off by uncertain hands. Quietly the door rushes to shut your words silent like white colored crayons.

Atsie (atsie):

While this may take some guessing to figure out what applies to what, it basically eludes to shutting out someone who needs to be shut out with all the blocking techniques your mind and body is capable of. (I hope that makes sense! )

I like the poem @Atsie but it seems like your kind of talk about the human body. :)

Atsie (atsie):

Alright, let me define it down for ya'll so no further speculations can be assumed. The first line talks about drowning out someone by musical melodies right between the cheekbones. What would that be? That would be headphones put into one's ears. Top by the crown of the head talks about the brain. How the brain can think whatever it pleases about the person its shutting out. Each side of the nose e.g clasped eyelids. Whats on each side of the nose? Eyes. Those eyes are shut so that way they cannot see the person they are attempting to shut out. At above the chin. Whats above the chin? One's laugh, one's smile, etc......laughing at someone else's foolishness till one's own ribs may hurt. Fingerly gentle but firm. This is known as pushing someone else's touch away such as a phony hug or hand squeeze e.g also another form of pushing them away and shutting them out. And last but not least the door rushing to shut out what someone says because a hate comment, a foolish word, or a silly lie does not need to be heard. So the door shuts it silent till those very words are as white and blank as crayons. I hope this clarifies it all. :)

Oh it totally makes so much sense now it made sense then but i was a little confused. ^_^ @Atsie

OpenStudy (alliekat01):

I really like this poem because I can completely relate with shutting people out and in the same way that you've described it. You're very talented! :)

OpenStudy (butlertechrules):

I love it... To me the meaning is that you are trying to start a new chapter and that you have to think of how your blocking people from it.

Atsie (atsie):

Thank you all so much. I'm very happy it registered in some sense! @butlertechrules @umerlodhi @AllieKat01
