OpenStudy (ijlal):

f(x) = Tanx ; (0,pi/2) then the function is said to be increasing, decreasing, implicit, explicit?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Graph it.

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

You don't need to but it helps.

OpenStudy (ijlal):

already did it. but at (0,pi/2) the function is both increasing and decreasing

OpenStudy (ijlal):

i used desmos graphing and my search query was F(x) = tan x

OpenStudy (ijlal):

come on guys i am kinda in a rush.. dont mean to push you fellas

@Photon336

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

As you move from left to right, does the function go up, or down?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

It can't be both increasing and decreasing.

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Also is (0,pi/2) supposed to point on the graph, or the domain?? Because (0,pi/2) is not even a point on y=tanx. I'd assume it's the domain.
