All angles in a triangle add up to 180
OpenStudy (emsxx3_):
okay
OpenStudy (emsxx3_):
what does that mean

One angle is 90 degrees, another is 27. What is the value of the third angle?
OpenStudy (emsxx3_):
would it be B?
OpenStudy (emsxx3_):
I'm really bad at math sorry
TheSmartOne (thesmartone):
How did you get B? Any work?
OpenStudy (emsxx3_):
it was an educational guess

Have you learned about trignometric functions?
OpenStudy (emsxx3_):
i do virtual
OpenStudy (emsxx3_):
so nope
TheSmartOne (thesmartone):
well, people do online schooling and learn stuff
anyways, if you don't know about trignometric functions, mhmm
well, we have to use it to solve it.
There are three trignometric functions.
Sine, cosine, and tangent.
We're only going to be dealing with right triangles for now
sin of an angle in a right triangle is basically the side opposite the angle over hypotenuse
cos of an angle is the adjacent side over hypotenuse
tan of an angle is the opposite side over the adjacent side
