Will give medal The figure shows two similar triangles on a coordinate grid: Which set of transformations have been performed on triangle ABC to form triangle A'

@pooja195 please

OpenStudy (partyshotz2409):

Dilation by a scale factor of 2 followed by reflection about the x-axis Dilation by a scale factor of 4 followed by reflection about the x-axis Dilation by a scale factor of 2 followed by reflection about the y-axis Dilation by a scale factor of 4 followed by reflection about the y-axis

OpenStudy (partyshotz2409):

is it c or d

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

It is c or d Compare the side lengths. Does it look like it's scaled by half or one quarter?

OpenStudy (sshayer):

what about C?

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

As @agent0smith said, it's either \(c\) or \(d\). If you compare the points and the new coordinates are exactly \(\frac{1}{2}\) of the original coordinates, for example, then it's scaled by half.

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

Keep in mind that since the diagram is reflected over the \(y\)-axis, all negative \(x\) coordinates have been turned positive, and vice versa.
