The bottom point has a y coordinate of -3 the top point has a y coordinate of 6 how far is it from y = -3 to y = 6 on the vertical number line (aka the y axis) ?

OpenStudy (ashtarothfick):

Is it C. 9y and 7x 9/7?

OpenStudy (ashtarothfick):

@jim_thompson5910

OpenStudy (ashtarothfick):

Alright. thanks.

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

u r welcome

OpenStudy (ashtarothfick):

I meant to say B XD Thanks for correction though :)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

change in y = 6-(-3) = 6+3 = 9 change in x = 1 - (-6) = 1+6 = 7 slope = rise/run = (change in y)/(change in x) = 9/7 so yes the answer is choice B) 9/7
