ok so looking at that what i would suggest is to make a table of sorts, and knowing the base values unless given extra information just assume that the relationship is Z=3X

The variable Z is directly proportional to X. When X is 6, Z has the value 18. What is the value of Z when X = 10 \[\frac{ 6 }{ 10 } =\frac{ 18 }{ a }\]
When x = 6 z = 18 when x = 10 z = a solve for a
Cross multiply 6a = 180 Divide by 6 a = 30
When x = 6 z = 18 when x = 10 z = 30
It's almost like a conversion key. 3 is the magical number.
