Tiya earns $7 an hour mowing her neighbor's lawn.
Part A: Create two variables and determine which is dependent and which is independent for this situation. (4 points)
Part B: List three ordered pairs to show the values of the two variables. (3 points)
Part C: Write an equation to represent the relationship between the two variables. (3 points)
Just Need Part B pweese

OpenStudy (kgrendel0324):
No you have to find the dependent and independent variable
OpenStudy (acespeedfighter):
Uhmm...
OpenStudy (kgrendel0324):
independent is x and dependent is y

OpenStudy (acespeedfighter):
kinda confused
OpenStudy (kgrendel0324):
When graphing you have an ordered pair which looks something like this... (1,12).
OpenStudy (kgrendel0324):
it also is (x,y)
OpenStudy (kgrendel0324):
So the dependent variable depends on the independent variable
OpenStudy (acespeedfighter):
(cough) undead help (cough)

alright so the ordered pairs would be (1,7),(2,14),(3,21)
OpenStudy (acespeedfighter):
ok..
OpenStudy (kgrendel0324):
thats the answer
OpenStudy (acespeedfighter):
Undaed?
undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):
Help with what lel?

wjat os B in Word Form Cause U and Kgrende diddnt explain it that well
undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):
Part B: List three ordered pairs to show the values of the two variables.
The created equation:
y = 7x
Or better known as F(x) = 7x
Where x is the independent and f(x) is the dependent.
OpenStudy (acespeedfighter):
its dependent
OpenStudy (acespeedfighter):
Right? RIght? RIGHt? RIGHT? IS IT ROOIGHT OR NAWWWT
undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):
So what we do is this:
f(x) = 7x
f(2) = 7(2)
f(2) = 14
So we'd form the points:
(2,14)
Where x = 2 and y = 14
Since we know x is the independent 2 would be seen as the independent and 14 would be seen as the dependent. Understand?

yes so Thats B?
undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):
Yep as I said, just plug them in and solve and that will give your variables value.
undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):
Aka ordered pairs.
OpenStudy (acespeedfighter):
Uhm.... Whats Thats?
undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):
Ordered pairs are points (x,y)
