I believe so as well, as the vocabulary and diction(word choice) is what makes up a story. Punctuation and grammar is too small, and periods don't effect the tone or mood, only an exclamation mark could give some "umph" to a story, changing the tone. But it would be small, minute, only affecting a sentence. I would say D
