OpenStudy (moldybubblegum12):
There are only 3 ways: 1+3, 2+2, and 3+1
How many ways can you roll a sum of 10?
Again, there are only 3 ways: 4+6, 5+5, and 6+4
So there are six possible combinations that will yield a sum of 4 or 10. There are 36 (or 6²) possible combinations from two dice, so the probability of rolling a 4 or a 10 is 6/36 or 1/6.
