OpenStudy (calculusxy):

First find the value of w, and then find the value of z. |dw:1469494864914:dw|

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

I think that the value of w is 160, but i am not sure about the value of z.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

`I think that the value of w is 160` that is correct

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you can use the 30-60-90 triangle template or you can use the tangent function tan(angle) = opposite/adjacent

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

tan(30) = 160/(w+z)

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Oh okay!
