OpenStudy (idani):

Suppose that x and y vary inversely, and x = 2 when y = 7. Write the function that models the inverse variation.

OpenStudy (idani):

5/X 14/x 9/x 3.5x

OpenStudy (imstuck):

The inverse equation for when y varies inversely with x is \[y=\frac{ k }{ x }\], where k is the constant of variation. It is this constant that you have to solve for most of the time, although here it looks like you just need to write the initial equation using the x and y values they gave you. Can you do that with the equation I have provided you?
