Well, I remember that the Renaissance means "rebirth," and it presented a refreshing look upon intellect and art styles. Unfortunately, I cannot exactly remember how it changed peoples thinking upon the world as I usually attribute a change in mindset with the Scientific Revolution, not the Renaissance. I do remember though that the Renaissance was the biggest time for art as painters and sculptors such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, etc. were alive at this time and quite popular. Without the Renaissance, I am confident that our modern world would not have went through the pop art movement nor whatever current art movement we are in.
