What is the 2nd term when 5y3 + 2y − 3 + 6y2 − y4 is arranged in descending order?

If y4 means y to the 4th power, then you would arrange the terms in descending order of power. So y4 comes first, then 5y3, then 6y2, then 2y, and then -3.
