Do each step at a time, and see if it is correct. Look at step 1. The problem itself (step before Step 1) has a fraction raised to an exponent outside the parentheses. To take care of that exponent, every exponent of the fraction is multiplied by the exponent outside the parentheses. Was that done correctly? Is step 1 correct?
