IM Muslim ask me anything about my religion. No we are not terrorists nor do we support bloodshed
god isn't real
Dumb comment @Sainath
GOD IS REAL
do you believe in the holy spirit
Yeswe believe teh holy spirit is The Angel Gabriel
How do you believe you receive the Holy Spirit? Also, how were Muslims able to be saved or know of "the truth" before Allah?
Ps./FYI "Allah" Is the Arabic Word for God so a Christian or Jew living in the Middle east or even a priest in the Holy land would Refer to God as Allah. Secondly I think it would clear your doubts to know Muslims accept all the prophets of God From Adam to john, Noah(and his ark), David(Who slayed Goliath) Abraham, Moses Jesus and Muhammad peace be upon them. as for "before" God. God was always there and he created man and commanded Adam to worship him so the truth has always been clear since the Creation Of Adam Peace be upon him.
do you speak in tongues or do you believe if you pray over someone they will be healed
I would like to appoligize for the way you are treated because pf your beliefs. It is not right and I admire you for sticking to that which you believe despite persicution
No only God can heal or cure as well as a few prophets. Jesus peace be upon him being one of them.
Jah bless our souls!!! I have no religion although I was baptized in a Catholic church. I believe in Science, Respect and I still believe in Humanity! I do not believe in Jesus, Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny anymore. The best thinkers were atheists and agnostics. I stick with them...
What do you believe about the afterlife?
I do not believe that Christians, Jews and Muslims all worship the same deity. Islam is through Abraham and Ishmael, not Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Allah may translate into "God", but the Biblical God's true name is Yahuwah. Interestingly enough, the vilest of all to Allah is the one called "the king of kings". Yahuwah, the God of Israel is called this in 1 Timothy 6:15. Muslims do not believe in a trinity, nor do they believe that Allah is capable of having children. Also, how can you say that you do not support bloodshed when the whole entire history of the spread of Islam is through conquering territories? Here are some verses in the Quran supporting bloodshed: Quran 5:33 "The recompense of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and do mischief in the land is only that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off on the opposite sides, or be exiled from the land. That is their disgrace in this world, and a great torment is theirs in the Hereafter." Quran 8:12 "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them." Quran 9:123 "O you who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are close to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allah is with those who are the Al-Muttaqun." Also in other Muslim books: "Volume 4, Book 52, Number 220: Narrated Abu Huraira: Sahih Bukhari 52:220 "Allah's Apostle said, "I have been sent with the shortest expressions bearing the widest meanings, and I have been made victorious with terror (cast in the hearts of the enemy), and while I was sleeping, the keys of the treasures of the world were brought to me and put in my hand." Abu Huraira added: Allah's Apostle has left the world and now you, people, are bringing out those treasures (i.e. the Prophet did not benefit by them)." Sahih Bukhari 1:35 Narrated Abu Huraira: 'The Prophet said, "The person who participates in (Holy battles) in Allah's cause and nothing compels him to do so except belief in Allah and His Apostles, will be recompensed by Allah either with a reward, or booty (if he survives) or will be admitted to Paradise (if he is killed in the battle as a martyr). Had I not found it difficult for my followers, then I would not remain behind any sariya going for Jihad and I would have loved to be martyred in Allah's cause and then made alive, and then martyred and then made alive, and then again martyred in His cause."' How can you say that Islam does not support bloodshed?
The bible also says similar things in fact it calls on unprovoked attacks in Deuteronomy. Make ready to slaughter the infidel’s sons for the guilt of their fathers; Lest they rise and possess the earth, and fill the breadth of the world with tyrants.[24] Then I heard God say to the other men, "Follow him through the city and kill everyone whose forehead is not marked. Show no mercy; have no pity! Kill them all – old and young, girls and women and little children.”[25] Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.[26] If your own full brother, or your son or daughter, or your beloved wife, or you intimate friend, entices you secretly to serve other gods, whom you and your fathers have not known, gods of any other nations, near at hand or far away, from one end of the earth to the other: do not yield to him or listen to him, nor look with pity upon him, to spare or shield him, but kill him. Your hand shall be the first raised to slay him; the rest of the people shall join in with you.[27] New Testament[edit] also lslam spread to East Asia, south east Asia and West africa as well as The Uzbek region WITHOUT ANY WAR. although at the time the middle east was war torn and yes the Muslims where good at winning politicl battles. that said i would like to draw everyones attention to the Crusades. nothing needs to be said here. We believe Jesus was a messenger of god not his son and that the Virgin May peace be upon her is the best Woman Created by God. peace be upon her is the best Woman Created by God. Finally to @jumperman specifically:Did you ever read teh Holy Bible ive read it cover to coverand belive niethrthe bible nor quran are violent if you take into account the context. it doesnt matter what YOU THINK about Islam all that matters is what Islam REALLY IS
funny!
1st. I think you are taking the verses in Deuteronomy out of context. 2nd. It's not the New Testament. Deuteronomy is in the Old Testament. 3rd. I've read the Holy Bible. I've also read the Qur'an. I find the Bible true and the Qur'an false. 4th. Jesus is God's son. There is enough evidence to prove this in the Scripture... of the Bible, if I must clarify. 5th. Islam is what I think it is because it is that way.
god1st. I think you are taking the verses in Quran out of context. 2nd. also verses in the new testament.... "I didnt come with a word I came whit a sword" "praised b my lord who trains my hands for war" (The verese just mentioned are taken out of context just like verses you took from the Quran) 3rd. I've read the Holy Bible. I've also read the Qur'an. I find the Both to be the word of God the Quran being the Final Edition just as you believe the new testament is the final edition that takes precidence over the Old Testament.; Now who do you think is more accepting of the way of Abraham and all of God's prophets 4th. Jesus is God's prophet. The Quran said God has no children and that he supported Jesus the Son of May with His Holy Spirit. Jesus is alive in Heaven and will return to earth rule over us in peace and call us to the worship of God 5th. You havn't studied Islam enough to separate beliefs from tradition.
I believe that the Old and New Testament are in equality, not one being more supreme over the other. Also, God accepts the righteous. Righteousness demonstrated by following the Torah. The Qur'an has no Torah, and also teaches against some aspects of the Torah. Israel comes from Abraham's seed, through his son Isaac, not Ishmael. You cannot say you find both to be true if they contradict each other. You have to choose between one or another. If you believe the Bible to be true, then you must believe that Jesus is God's son. This is in contradiction with the Qur'an. Which one will you choose between? I've read the context of the verses in which I referenced... the verses are mostly spontaneously placed. As if, the only reason it's there is to just place commandments in random places. This is different in the Bible. Each commandment has a purpose and is placed to address issues relevant to what is going on. Have you studied enough on Islam? If you have, you would find it false, like I have.
we believe israel is form Isaac line in fact we believe all prophets after abraham where from Issac except Muahmmad who came from Ishmaels line
Also The verses of war where revealed on the battle field would you preach mercy before you charge towards someone? no. secondly If you have read the bible in Latin as I have you eill fid it is different from the english version and if you ask anyone to read it in arramaic which is the language Jesus Spoke you will find it is even more different.
Different? I find it different in a way to support the English version. It's all about understanding the picture of what is being taught. If you believe in the God of Israel, then you must believe Jesus is God's son. You can't pick and choose between what to believe from both religions. One or the other. Both are different.
If Christians believe in the old testament why do they eat pork when it if clearly prohibited in the bible:nd the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it [is] unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase.
that is why Muslims Dont eat pork
I don't eat pork. But Muslims eat camel, which is prohibited in the Torah.
@mazmaz1 Do you have hope? Do you know where you will go after you die? Do you feel a connection to God? Love? I am not trying to corner you or anything. I just want to know the truth.
@Qwert2 Yes I can only Hope I will go to heaven with all of the righteous who lived their lives conscious of his presence and will. Yes i often talk to God and rely on him to help me. God Every day 17 times a day minimum in prayer I turn to God in heaven and ask him to guide me to the straight path and I believe he has Guided me to being conscious of God. for the Lord almighty is my sheperd
we actuallybelieve that Camel was not forbidden rather Israel didnt like it so the children is israel ie. his followers- decided it was unholy by the way Muslims are required to purify themselves after consuming camel or drinking its milk although it is not forbidden
and many Christians eat pork. and engage in extramarital relationships and homosexuality and Republicanism. which are un christian and un Islamic
Many of those "Christians" you mention are not true Christians. There are fakes.
So you are not 100% sure you will go to heaven? Jesus is the way, the truth and the life @mazmaz1 I am not very good at explaining Christianity but if you are interested in Jesus I would recommend the Bible and a book called More Than a Carpenter
I have read the Holy Bible many times. Most stories such as david and goliath, king solomon, ezra, izekiel, and mosos are also in the Quran as we believe in all the prophets of Christianity, Everyone who believes in God will go to heaven by Gods mercy but we are responsible for our sin and forgiveness from sins is by asking God to Forgive you and getting to heaven is as easy as that by Gods mercy
That's not the Biblical way of getting to heaven. Forgiveness must be accompanied by repentance, and faith must be accompanied by works.
Yes that is what we believe to but I meant that God will not unjustly punish anyone who believes in him so he will not be in hell for eternity. True your must ask forgivness and repents and if you truly believe in God you must obey him
But there is no salvation if Jesus is not God's son.
We believe that we do not inherit Adams sin and that we are accountable for our own deeds
If you do not inherit Adam's sin, then there would be no sin.
Or else, we would be created with sinful nature, thus making us not in God's image.
we are born pure and innocent but we commit sins for which we must repent
