PLZZ HELP ME WITH MY QUESTIONS 6th grade

OpenStudy (jeremiahclare):

Is the median or the mean a better measure of center for these data and why? Mean, because the data are skewed and there are outliers Mean, because the data are symmetric and there are no outliers Median, because the data are skewed and there are outliers Median, because the data are symmetric and there are no outliers

OpenStudy (jeremiahclare):

how do u cpy and paste a pic

OpenStudy (jeremiahclare):

nvm

OpenStudy (jeremiahclare):

OpenStudy (jeremiahclare):

can u see the pic?

OpenStudy (mantar0078):

Yes

OpenStudy (jeremiahclare):

ok

OpenStudy (mantar0078):

What center is the question referring to? Median is used to find the middle number and mean is used to find the average number. There aren't any outliers in the chart.

OpenStudy (jeremiahclare):

i dont get this question but i think its D

OpenStudy (mantar0078):

Were you taught mean, median, and mode in your lesson?

OpenStudy (jeremiahclare):

im homeschool its hard

OpenStudy (jeremiahclare):

i need 10 assessments to got to 7th and i dont get this last question

OpenStudy (jeremiahclare):

go to

OpenStudy (mantar0078):

I understand. My boyfriend is homeschooled and had a hard time learning these concepts too. Do you know how to get mean median and mode?

OpenStudy (jeremiahclare):

no

OpenStudy (jeremiahclare):

is it D tho

OpenStudy (mantar0078):

I believe so.

OpenStudy (jeremiahclare):

ok

OpenStudy (jeremiahclare):

You're welcome

OpenStudy (mantar0078):

Good luck

OpenStudy (jeremiahclare):

nope it was wrong but i can reset my exam

OpenStudy (evoker):

For mean you want symmetric data, median is preferred for skewed data or data with outliers.
