Show that the remainder when polynomial f(x) is divided by (x-a) is f(a) (Done). Show that if f(x) is divided by (x-a)(x-b) where a≠b then the remainder is

\[\large\rm [\frac{f(a)-f(b)}{a-b}]x+ \frac{af(b)-b(a)}{a-b} \]
