Steps

3. Compare the standard of living of the country you chose with that of the United States. This should be written in a paragraph of at least three to five sentences.
4. Examine the information you have gathered. Determine whether or not you recommend this country for your family’s new home. Write down the reasons you do or do not recommend it in at least three sentences.
5. Create your recommendation to present to your family. You may choose the format of your presentation. Suggestions include podcast, video, slideshow, and article. See this example for inspiration.

Okay, well have you done the research? The detailed instructions make it look like if this is a hard assignment, but it is actually pretty simple. Think about the things you want in a country you want to visit. Maybe you want a country with little crime, a good economy, a small death rate I guess, fewer than 10 million in population. Or just pick a country and analyze the demographics and what you have learned from it and why you would want to visit or not visit. Then, create the recommendation for your family. Find different reasons why you would want to visit the country, or not, and present each of these different reasons to a different member of your family. For example, one slide could be about the population, and this slide could appeal to your mother, who would prefer a country to visit that is not very populated. Then you can talk about economics and how much the country earns versus how much it spends, and you can make a slide appealing to your father about how the economy is very good for business. Then, if you have younger siblings, or siblings at all, you can make a slide that appeals to them by showing them the tourism in the country and maybe even fun facts. If you have a small family, you can make more slides for the different people or just make up the rest of your family.
