"For the question tell me about yourself" on the job interview what should I say? PS: it'll be my first job. About me: I was born in Russia and given up for adoption. At 8 years old I was adopted and then started school in 2nd grade. I was further behind than most of the kids yes but I climbed my way up. In 4th grade I was an Award called "All Stars" for reading. I also have won awards in summer camp for being a good leader to the other kids. In 8th grade I received all As on the semester exam and was able to skip a grade. I have also baby sat and now I'm 17
More information: I am also in high school taking honors classes and AP classes.
Talk a bit more about where you are going to high school, and maybe how you are scoring in your classes.
That's my suggestion.
It'd be a good idea to share your story (as you have already begun to do) and then go on to explain what you learned from some of the more significant experiences you've had. Also, consider describing yourself, instead of merely listing what you have done. Are you, for example, goal-oriented? able to "see the big picture?" patient? resourceful? You might want to give examples if you describe yourself in such ways.
