I have 266 total parts. And ships 2.5 per month. I work 8 hours a day for 21 working days only. Find every x minute if I'm suppose to produce 1 parts? Help please!! So confused!
That doesn't make much sense you may want to copy the problem in full from the source or take a picture of it.
They told me to find minute in producing 1 parts. This was how the teacher said. No writing :(
I did 8 hours x 21 days = 168 hours. 266/2.5 ?
266.5/2.5 = 106.4
So was it x/266? this is a bit confusing
this is what teacher wrote on the board : 266 parts shipset, 2.5 shipset/month Find every "x" minutes I'm suppose to produce 1 part. You work 8 hours a day for 21 working days.
it seems like I'm suppose to find # of minutes per 1 part.
Ok I think I got it now, you need to find the total parts divided by the total minutes.
Yeah sounds good
so 266 parts per shipment times 2.5 shipments is how many parts.
665
yep and you worked for 21 days for 8 hours a day, so how many hours?
168 hours
ok now there is 60 minutes in an hour so how many minutes are there in 168 hours
10,080 minutes?
Yeah, so if you want minutes per part 10,080/665 if you want parts per minute the flip 665/10080
oh wow! Thank you so much! This explanation clears thing so much easier for me! Thank you!!!!!
Glad I could help
