OpenStudy (thatcreepyboy):

One second I'll help.

OpenStudy (quickstudent):

My lesson didn't teach how to do this:(

OpenStudy (thatcreepyboy):

Awe It's okay!

OpenStudy (thatcreepyboy):

All you have to do is add up the sides :)

OpenStudy (thatcreepyboy):

Wait I think

OpenStudy (quickstudent):

But I have to find out what is the length of the hypotenuse

OpenStudy (thatcreepyboy):

Damn hold on then.

OpenStudy (lalaly):

Do you know the formula for the perimeter of a Right triangle?

OpenStudy (quickstudent):

NO:(

OpenStudy (thatcreepyboy):

Okay! This helps http://openstudy.com/updates/53c8420de4b05c273e9ef9e9

OpenStudy (lalaly):

|dw:1470159598468:dw| \[Perimeter= a+b+\sqrt{(a^2)+(b^2)}\]

OpenStudy (lalaly):

now try to solve it

OpenStudy (thatcreepyboy):

Need help @quickstudent?

OpenStudy (quickstudent):

Well I guess I'll try solving the formula @lalaly gave.

OpenStudy (quickstudent):

So it's 48?

OpenStudy (darksonic112233):

Yes it is, but next time Instead, use the Pythagorean theorem a^2+b^2=c^2 imo, it's easier to memorize

OpenStudy (triciaal):

@quickstudent is everything clear?

OpenStudy (thatcreepyboy):

Its 48.

OpenStudy (quickstudent):

I got it. Thanks!

OpenStudy (thatcreepyboy):
