OpenStudy (maggy14145):

True or False- Is it possible to use a scientific calculator to evaluate exponential functions?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

mhmm, do you have a scientific calculator? here is an online scientific calculator for it to be able to evaluate exponential functions, you would need an exponent button that looks like ^ what do you think the answer is? (:

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

if it doesn't have the ^ button, it can also look like \( x^y\) and and it also comes with the \(x^2\) and \(x^3\) buttons :P

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

evaluate means get a numerical value .. so ou can substitute a value for the variable and evaluate it using a calculator but it really depends on what the question is asking
