If you fail a grade in private school, and school hasn't started yet and you change schools, but going into a public school, would you still have to repeat that grade orr?
lol
you'd have to repeat ig
No.
When i did that i went to the 6th grade lolz
At public school, they don't make you redo the year, they'll lower you a class. I failed math twice in Jr. High. All they did was give me a tutor and put me in remedial math. In High School, they don't make you "stay back" but the class that you failed, they'll make you retake instead of having a free period. That's just my school, though.
When I was homeschooled, I almost failed all the classes, but when i went back to public, somehow my grades where up. Probably my homschool level was up.
Public schools don't hold you back if you fail a grade, well in high school that is, they simply make you take "Credit Recovery Classes" or E2020. for my school, and that basically is self-explanatory.
What they do in Public school is one of three things; 1) Enroll you on a Modified diploma A modified diploma can mean a few things, more commonly, it's known as giving you an extra year of Highschool, so more years to complete credits. 2) Enroll you under the same circumstances as you left in your previous school Basically, if you left off behind in private school, they'll enroll you in the same grade that the private school would put you in. 3) Make you retake the classes you've failed in previous years This just means that if you fail a class, they'll put you in credit recovery or make you retake the class within the next 1-3 years.
more often than not they will just have you repeat the classes you failed
