OpenStudy (dumbcow):

Reflection about "x" axis changes the sign of "y" and vice versa ----> 2^x reflected around x axis becomes -2^x ----> 2^x reflected around y axis becomes 2^(-x) Dilation refers to a multiplier that stretches the graph of the function. The dilating factor is just a constant in front of the exponential base. -----> 2^x Dilated by 3 becomes 3*(2^x) ------> 2^x Dilated by 1/4 becomes (1/4)*(2^x)
