Im doing functions now.. Chapter 8?
OpenStudy (junhaoz):
What's the question?
OpenStudy (tomatotsundere):
How do i calculate the coordinates with a initial value of 3 and rate of change of 1? I'm so confused..
OpenStudy (junhaoz):
Is there a specific question?
OpenStudy (tomatotsundere):
I'm not asking for a answer, more of a explanation on how to do it.

ok
OpenStudy (tomatotsundere):
Thank you for helping ;-;
OpenStudy (junhaoz):
So in slope intercept form, y=mx+b. B is the y intercept, so what you started with, which is 3. M is the slope, which is 1 because for every increment, you said you increase 1, and 1/1 is 1. So the equation is y=x+3 (1x=x) you would just plug in the x coordinate and solve and you will get the y coordinate
OpenStudy (junhaoz):
slope=rate of change
OpenStudy (tomatotsundere):
Wow... That's super simple, i made that allot harder in my head than it actually is. I'm sorry .
