Suggestion: Private Threads
I know a lot of users on this site are enrolled in online courses, including myself. To communicate with my classmates I use a web/phone based app called groupme, however it's very limited in the sense that LATEX is not supported, and there is no whiteboard...

I think openstudy could really pull in a lot of traffic by implementing the idea of "classrooms" on the site. All of the elements are already on the site: whiteboard, LATEX, and easy communication. Not to mention, in the future, when owlbucks are reimplemented - there is a lot more incentive to purchase owlbucks to help your entire class struggling with a problem, than there is for one single person. It seems like an easy addition to the site, and I know people in my class would greatly benefit from it. Thanks!
