Domain and Range. Please help!

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

OpenStudy (javyb13):

So domain is all the x coordinates and range is all your y coordinates

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

Ah, 1. has to be k

OpenStudy (javyb13):

do you know what makes a graph a function?

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

no

OpenStudy (javyb13):

ok so Look at one of the graphs you have a question about. Then take a vertical line and place it on the graph. If the graph is a function, then no matter where on the graph you place the vertical line, the graph should only cross the vertical line once.

OpenStudy (javyb13):

i hope that helps you eliminate some of your choices to find the correct answer

OpenStudy (javyb13):

because unfortunatley i dont have time to go through each and every one with you but im sure if you post your answers at the end someone will help you check them

OpenStudy (javyb13):

for example C is not a function because two points touch the vertical line

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

1. f

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

@javyb13

OpenStudy (javyb13):

not quite, F is a function and 1 says its not a function. Try again

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

c

OpenStudy (javyb13):

@Sila1453 might be able to help you

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

:(

OpenStudy (javyb13):

sorry its been a long time since ive tried to do this so i dont want to give you the wrong answer
