OpenStudy (griffindore):

The volume of a cone is 141.3 cubic inches. The height of the cone is 15 inches. What is the radius of the cone, rounded to the nearest inch? Use π = 3.14

OpenStudy (faiqraees):

\[\large\rm Volume= 1/3 \times \pi\times radius^2 \times height\ \]

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

do you can using this above wrote formula ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

there are V = (pi*r^2 *h)/3 from this just you need calculi the radius - yes ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

like a first step multiplie both sides by 3 and will get 3V = pi*r^2 *h divide both sides by pi*h and will get 3V/(pi*h) = r^2 r = sqrt(3V/(pi*h) hope helped
