Use this figure to answer the following six questions in the essay box. this is the image link https://sevenstar.brainhoney.com/Resource/48547922,0/Assets/flvs/geometry_v8_gs_lrc-3053-xml/res0040/04_04_01.gif line segment AB is a diameter. line segment BD is a tangent. a. m angle1 and m angle2b. m angle3c. m arc CFd. m angle4e. m angle5f. m arc AE
for most of these, you can use the fact that the length of the subtended arc is twice the angle that forms it. So, for problem (a) the length of the arc is 90 so therefore the measurement of angle 1 (the angle that forms it) is one-half of that length. 90/2 = 45 degrees.
I honestly don get this at all and I was wondering if you wouldn't mind doing the problem for mr
me
Sorry, that's not what the helpers on here are supposed to do. We're just here to provide you insight and help into getting you to solve these yourself.
The same thing that I did to solve the measure of angle 1, you can do to solve the measure of angle 2. So, if the length of the arc is 45 then what does that mean for the measure of angle 2?
angle 2 is 90
