I just started school today and was asked to write a paragraph about myself. Here's the paragraph: My name is Alina Kirk. I was born in Russia and was adopted at 8 years and have mild cerebral palsy. I was told that because of my disability I am retarded and would not accommodate to anything. Since the adoption and beginning school I have won multiple academic achievements. I am now 17 years old and taking AP and honors classes in hopes that I will be successful. I was told by the teacher that I have to "transfer" the paragraph into a 10 word sentence.

* No "to be" verbs
* Don't use first person
* Strong vivid diction

Oh dear. Strong, vivid diction huh? And only 10 words.
Well, it can't exactly be intensely descriptive given the limits, but maybe it can be made to sound "heavy". As in heavy with big words that have a descriptive definition.
For example:
"Alana Kirk is an exalted and uplifting individual with spunk."
Exalted: of high level - have won multiple academic achievements, taking AP and honors classes
Uplifting: inspiring - I was told that because of my disability I am retarded and would not accommodate to anything, proceeds to do awesome things
Spunk: courage, determination - reasons stated prior.

So basically what I did was assign words to your life's events and put them in a sentence. Of course my sentence is a mere suggestion, I just wanted to try and give you a route to take for writing such a sentence.
