Need to find the determinant of the matrix, I believe
This is how, with an example https://www.shodor.org/unchem/math/matrix/determinant.gif
Try finding the determinant of that matrix in your Q, then setting it equal to 2x+50.
Determinant of \(\begin{bmatrix}a&b\\c&d\end{bmatrix} = ad - bc\)
@TheSmartOne Thank you for correcting the pic i posted; i realized they spelled it wrong (c*b instead of bc). All your effort to correct their spelling is greatly appreciated.
Not only that! They wrote det for determinant! Det could stand for something like Detroit. So I just had to clarify it. ;)
Anyways, we're just waiting on you @adobohobo (:
\[\left[\begin{matrix}\text{ ah}& \text{makes} \\ \text{perfect} & \text{of course}\end{matrix}\right] = \text{ah}*\text{of course}-\text{makes}*\text{perfect sense} \]
\[\left[\begin{matrix}\text{ Where}& \text{did} \\ \text{he} & \text{go}\end{matrix}\right] = \text{Where}*\text{go}-\text{did}*\text{he} \]
Asker went offline. Oh well. xD
You should redo that matrix...
Yours is messed up LOL \(\color{blue}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @agent0smith \[\left[\begin{matrix}\text{ ah}& \text{makes} \\ \text{perfect} & \text{of course}\end{matrix}\right] = \text{ah}*\text{of course}-\text{makes}*\text{perfect sense}\] \(\color{blue}{\text{End of Quote}}\) You brought in "sense" magically from no where LOL
