yes that is 1/3 so the shaded area is 1/3 of the total area of the circle the circle has radius 8 - so what is its area?

OK That is the area of the whole circle so what is the area of 1/3 of the circle?
You are just one simple step from the answer the diagram shows that the shaded area ia 1/3 of the total area you have worked out the total = 201.06 so what is 1/3 of that?

That is th ecorrect answer. You have posted several questions on the same theme now. Just look at the angles as a fraction of the whole circle - then calculate the whole circle value and work out the fraction of that...
