OpenStudy (morena123):

Let the variable a represent any positive real number greater than 1. What is the one point that every function of the form f(x) = ax has in common, regardless of the value of a?

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Hint: Let x = 0. What do you get? Choose different values for a, and then, for each value, let x = 0. What do you observe?

OpenStudy (morena123):

Oh, that makes sense. I thought the question said that the x had to be greater than 1. So the point they both have in common is x as 0, right?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Close, but points are given as (x, y) or (x, f(x)). But you pretty much have it.
