help with average rate question plz?

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

#4 -- slope of line is miles per minute which is speed, the avg speed of Susan should be equal to Jonathon because the slopes are equal use slope formula to compute Susans avg slope: \[\frac{y_2 - y_1}{x_2 - x_1} = \frac{14 - \frac{7}{3}}{20-0} = \frac{\frac{35}{3}}{20} = \frac{35}{60}\] Notice this is equal to 35 miles per hour

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

#5 ---- Susan drives faster than 35 mph if the slope is greater than avg slope Find point on graph where slope is "steeper" than line connecting the 2 endpoints

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

#6 --- same as above, Find points where slope is exactly the same as avg slope
