no i don't think so
take a look at this http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=1%2Fx%5E2+domain+1..3
you will notice that the \(x^2\) is in the denominator, making it not proportional but "inversely proportional"
Ah, it would be 'p is inversely proportional to v'
