Astrology vs. Astronomy: What's the difference?
\(\sf \color{blue}{Astronomy}\) is based on research and observation about the study of things outside the earth. \(\sf \color{red}{Astrology}\) is study of how the heavenly bodies affect the lives of people (e.g horoscopes ). So is this section about horoscopes and such?
I believe that this is about Astrology and horoscopes, otherwise it would have said Astronomy...they are similar, but very different and I would have a hard time believing that they misspelled it because the words have two different letters, they both start with Astro (which refers to sky, space, the things beyond man and earth) It's not that often when a person with great coding abilities and such to create this whole thing would misspell two letters to alter the whole word :/
Google answers that question a lot faster. But thanks anyways. @EvL
That is not exactly my point @Infinity, but thanks for your effort replying to this post. @bunnielover948 thank you. So this means that this section is also not considered as one of the academic sections because posts about horoscopes will be in this section.
Oh, I see your point. @EvL
Your welcome @EvL, yeh this section is more of a fun based kind, but I'm sure people can use the section for almost anything involving the night sky and/or space and/or stars, but it's more than welcome to be used for just horoscopes :)
I see it as well. Maybe we can suggest a change?
Make a subject Astronomy, and a subtopic of astrology
I agree with @sammixboo . Astrology and Astronomy are two very different subjects and should not be confused between the other.
\(\sf \color{blue}{Astronomy}\) is my toast.
lolollolol
