Question

Hi Guys!
Check this short melody I wrote....I know its quite childish (and please ignore the stupid bass notes)....

It's a good start, however, it doesn't seem to have much of a structure. Remember when forming melodies, you want it to follow some sort of chord progression. For example, a chord progression I use often is G -> D -> e minor -> C and then repeat. There's lot's of variations, but you want to make sure to use this as a guideline. Then you can form melodies and bass lines around that. Hope this helps!
