OpenStudy (torialaw192):

Factor completely −2x3 + 6x2. −x(2x2 − 6x) 2x(−x2 + 3x) −2x2(x − 3) Prime

OpenStudy (snitchseeker1496):

In factoring, look for the numerical and variable coefficients that both terms have. In this example, it would be 2x^2

OpenStudy (welshfella):

yes its called the GCF - Greatest Common Factor

OpenStudy (torialaw192):

Ok, but how do I figure out my answer? I'm so confused..

OpenStudy (snitchseeker1496):

Since your GCF would be 2x^2 divide it to the given in order to know the rest of the answer. HInt: -2x^2/-2x^3 + (-2x^2/6x^2) = -2x^2 (The remainig answer)

OpenStudy (torialaw192):

When I divided it, I got -2x

OpenStudy (snitchseeker1496):

No, try it again

OpenStudy (torialaw192):

@SnitchSeeker1496 I'm not good at this type of math
