What did the leakeys discover in Olduvai Gorge? A. An early human settlement B. Prehistoric Stone Tools C. A complete human skeleton D. Sets of Neanderthal footprints

OpenStudy (wwhitlock):

The Leaky clan worked OG for a couple generations so it's hard to classify their work with a single label. A later group of archeologists found about 130 bones of one woman. That's a lot but not a complete skeleton and not the Leakeys. The Gorge has evedence of several human precursors. Bones and tools from about humanins over a span of at least a million years ending about 17,000 years ago. I don't know if you can call in a settlement. But lots of different species where in Oldavai durin that time period. Some used tools apparently. Neanderthals hung around Europe and Asia. They only got as far south as northern Afirica. OG is in Tanzania in the Great Rift Valley. Not realy a Neandethal place. Looks to me you've got a flawed question. I have know idea why the writer capitalized stone tools like a proper noun. Stone tools are just stones that get used as a tool. So you'll need to decide if humanins of various species living in a place for a million or so years counts as a settlement or if stones being used as tools constitute Stone Tools. Did I say that I hate multiple choice questions. You may have picked that up.
