How would you describe the relationship of circles C and D? A) They are concentric circles. B) They are congruent circles. C) They are internally tangent circles. D) They are externally tangent circles

http://prntscr.com/c69xhs from http://jwilson.coe.uga.edu/emt668/EMT668.Folders.F97/Anderson/writeup6/writeup6.html http://prntscr.com/c69xlf from http://mathworld.wolfram.com/ConcentricCircles.html congruent circles are circles that have the same radius which makes it have the same area and cirucmference what do you think the answer is now? :)

OpenStudy (venomous.penguin):

So they are congruent circle?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

do they have the same radius?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Also take a look at the links I sent. Just these two http://prnt.sc/c69xhs and http://prnt.sc/c69xlf

OpenStudy (venomous.penguin):

@TheSmartOne I don't think they the same radius.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

So they can't be congruent :P

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

That eliminates B. What do you think it is after looking at the two screenshots I shared earlier? :P

OpenStudy (venomous.penguin):

It's not A and it not B, I'm thinking that it might be internally tangent circles?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

correct :)

OpenStudy (venomous.penguin):

Awesome thank you ! your a really big help.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Anytime! :)
