How to solve this differential equation ? ydx + (1 + ye^x)*dy = 0
@agent0smith
do you have any idea @agent0smith ?
Boy this one doesn't work out very nicely :( https://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=y(x)%2B(1%2By(x)e%5Ex)y%27(x)%3D0 where did you get this ugly looking equation?
My mathematics teacher wrote it on the whiteboard :(
so, there is no solution step-by-step :(
See that big ugly W in the denominator of the solution? Ya, this doesn't look like it has a closed form solution... Unless you're doing power series or something? :o
Yes dude! I just saw that big ugly W
Bahh I dunno >.< Math is hard!
I read a bit about the W function recently, @Kainui posted about it. It's the inverse of \(\large f(x) = xe^x\) but i didn't read too much into it.
Is it an inexact equation? Maybe you can make it exact with an integrating factor
wot, some analysis?!?! this is the Math Wolfram conduit
