If m cotA = n

OpenStudy (hxkage):

Find the value of \[\frac{ m sinA - n cosA}{ ncosA+msinA }\]

OpenStudy (hxkage):

;-;

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Hmm how bout weeeeeee.... make a bunch of ugly fractions so we can create some cotangents, ya?

zepdrix (zepdrix):

\[\large\rm \cot A=\frac{\cos A}{\sin A}\]

zepdrix (zepdrix):

So how bout we divide top and bottom by sinA,\[\large\rm \frac{m sinA-n cosA}{n cosA+m sinA}\frac{\left(\frac{1}{\sin A}\right)}{\left(\frac{1}{\sin A}\right)}\]giving us,\[\large\rm =\frac{m\frac{\sin A}{\sin A}-n\frac{\cos A}{\sin A}}{n\frac{\cos A}{\sin A}+m\frac{\sin A}{\sin A}}\]

zepdrix (zepdrix):

And then just uhhh.. clean it up from there, ya?

OpenStudy (hxkage):

@zepdrix Ha, thank you! I appreciate your efforts. Oh and sorry for late response, I was busy. ;-;
