OpenStudy (johnssyy122):

Which graph showing constant acceleration correctly places the independent and dependent variables?

OpenStudy (shamim):

Graph plz

OpenStudy (osprey):

There's no graph here that I can see. But a suitable independent variable - on the horizontal or x axis, would be time, t. A suitable dependent variable - up the vertical or y axis, would be velocity, v, or speed (which is the magnitude of velocity). Using these two variables, constant acceleration would be a straight line. Were the thing being moved to start from rest at time zero, then the straight line would pass through the origin. A steep straight line says "high acceleration" (keep your hat on !). A "shallow" straight line says "low acceleration (gently does is). http://perendis.webs.com
