I'm not understanding what you are supposed to add, the decimal numbers or the other numbers to find the mean..
OpenStudy (basically):
add the numbers up & then count how many numbers(in this case, scores) you have. definition from google:
Mean is just another name for average. To find the mean of a data set, add all the values together and divide by the number of values in the set. The result is your mean.
OpenStudy (jeremiahclare):
2.7 i think
OpenStudy (liziekay):
Were they supposed to add all the numbers?
OpenStudy (jeremiahclare):
if u add the scores then its 3 and 3 is not of my answers

OpenStudy (basically):
add the all of the scores, which gives you 14. then, divide that by 4.
OpenStudy (liziekay):
oh, I added the answers and divided by 4. silly me.
OpenStudy (basically):
14 / 4 = 3.5
OpenStudy (liziekay):
What did you get as your answer? I got 2.857
OpenStudy (liziekay):
3.5 is not in the answers..
